Lovely hike today on the Ware River Rail Trail from Rte 122 to Covered Bridge Rd and back along Granger Rd. We had 20 hikers and enjoyed this spot at the site of the covered bridge on the Ware River.

Spring appears to be coming, finally. We had a nice 4.5 mile hike around Heywood Res today with NO ICE.

We got lucky today. Trail conditions were really hard to predict but they turned out better than expected with a third of the Hillbilly Heaven trail actually clear of snow! What a treat after a long snowy winter!

We had 14 humans and one pup. Great group!!

We had a nice 4 mile walk today along the Midstate Trail out to Muddy Pond (Westminster) and back. We had 12 hikers...trails were in good shape with a small snow covering most of the way.

Great way to start 2026!!

Lovely hike in the cold and snow this morning with 10 hiking 'regulars'. The trails up and down the mountain were well broken out...a 4 mile hike up Mountainhouse and down Admin - Semuhenna - Echo Lake - High Meadow.

It was a bit cold and wet this morning but EVERYONE showed up and we had a lovely walk for 4.2 miles down the Potato Chip Trail into Wolf Rocks and out via Paradise Pond.

One more PERFECT fall hiking day. We had 17 for the hike from Red Fox Farm in Princeton down to Oakdale. 8 dropped off after 4 miles at Manning St. 9 did the whole 8 miles. All downhill!

We had 16 today for a hike from Fisher St in Holden down and back to the Worcester Cascades. Another perfect hiking day!

Lovely hike today with a group of long time Princeton Hikes people and friends. Perfect morninng, easy 4 mile (mostly) quiet hike.

We had 14 today for our hike up along Whitmanville River from Wachusett Brewery and back via the Midstate Trail. A few of us stopped in for lunch at the end.

It was a really pretty day but it would have been better if I hadn't understated the distance (7.5 miles hiked instead of 5.5 planned is a serious error!) Still a nice day...the trail along Crocker Pond was really pretty.

Lovely day and 4 mile hike around the Holden Quinapoxit bike trails (part of Mass Central Rail Trail west of rte 31). We did the rail trail plus the trail to the south along Asnebumskit Brook
