We are excited to introduce you to our 2026 National Day of Prayer speaker, Eric Hernandez!

Eric is a Christian apologist, author and speaker specializing in evangelism, the philosophy of the mind and the rational defense of the Christian worldview. He is the author of The Lazy Approach to Evangelism - a book endorsed by leading scholars such as J.P. Moreland, Mike Licona, J. Warner Wallace, Frank Turek and Lee Strobel. Eric has contributed chapters to Faith Examined, Truth, Stewarding AI and is also featured in the apologetics documentary Universe Designed.
Eric has engaged in numerous public debates and dialogues with nonbelievers in both academic and public forums in churches and on college campuses around the world. He has taught apologetics, evangelism and theology at local bible institutes and currently serves as a Field Guide for MAVEN, leading immersive apologetics mission trips for high school and college students. He holds degrees in Theology, Christian Ministries and Philosophy, along with a Certificate of Apologetics from Biola University.
Eric is the founder and president of EHM Apologetics, a ministry dedicated to equipping believers to articulate and defend their faith with clarity, compassion and intellectual rigor.

Lauren has lived in Princeton since 2014 with her husband, Christopher, son, Hunter, and dog Bandit. She's worked for the school district since 2017 and has attended Heart + Soul Church since 2020.

This is Lauren's first year as a committee member for the Princeton National Day of Prayer. She is excited for this evening of fellowship and prayer because it is a chance to grow closer to God and be encouraged by the collective faith of others. Prayer has the power to bring hope, healing, and restoration. This year's theme of hope reminds us that true hope comes from God alone because He is our ultimate source of hope, peace, and encouragement.

A favorite Bible verse of Lauren's is Philippians 4:6 "do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." This verse has been a comfort during many of life's uncertainties and struggles and a great reminder to pray over everything.
