Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton (UUCP)
http://www.uuprinceton.org The adults stay together in worship for a deeper experience of reverence.

Each week we gather to be inspired, seek beauty, and experience community in our multi-generational and spiritually-diverse religious home. On a typical Sunday, we all worship together for a brief time, and then our younger ones go to church school where they learn about justice, compassion, acceptance, and other values we share. And after the service, we gather as one community again for a time of fellowship and enrichment. And that's just on Sundays! Our active and vibrant Unitarian Universalist congregation has many wonderful programs and events throughout the month. Newcomers are always welcome. Please check UUPrinceton.org for more information. Sunday Worship and Children's Religious Education is at 10:30 a.m. throughout the year.

Rest and relaxation can feel like indulgences, but they’re really ancient religious imperatives. They’re disciplines, commanded of those who wish to lead more generous, faithful, and joyful lives. Why is taking a break so important, especially in today’s world?

National Coming Out Day is close to 40 years old at this point, founded in 1988 by a psychologist and an activist. As the psychologist, Robert Eichberg, said: "Most people think they don't know anyone gay or le***an, and in fact, everybody does.” He and Jean O’Leary, a longtime le***an activist, intended this yearly observance as a beacon of positivity in the darkest days of the AIDS epidemic. And after nearly four decades, that beacon is more necessary than ever. Coming out is not a one-time process, but a repeated practice of living safely, honestly and gloriously with each set of our beloved ones. Join Rainbow Ministry in exploring how UU values embrace all facets of this practice, in our congregational life but also in all intersecting circles of our beloved community.

Nelson Mandela famously said, "May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears." He knew that hope offered more promise and possibility than fear, and yet we all can allow fear to guide our deliberations and decisions. This leaves life emptier than it might otherwise be. How can we move toward the growing fullness of a less fearful life?

Broadly speaking, Mysticism seeks to cultivate experiences and practices that lead to transforming encounters with the Holy. This pursuit is often portrayed as very spiritual and kind of solo, but sometimes it’s much more practical and highly relational. Aside from the peak experience of great transformation, what does a daily mystic mindset offer?
