Another wonderful MMG Charity Golf Tournament in the books. MMG made it another wonderful day for “ALL” players, volunteers, families and spectators. Our Kiwanis members were busy most of the day serving their “special hamburgers”, red hotdogs along with all the extra goodies. It was great day, and the rain even waited until the tournament was almost over!! Helping out were, Kiwanis members George Watson, Cindy Boot and Mark Hewitt. Our other wonderful volunteers were Washburn High School student Carter Gardiner and MMG staff Norma Levesque.

Kiwanis Club of Presque Isle members were doing one of the club’s favorite events today at Pine Street Elementary School. It was the club’s annual visit to deliver school supplies. The Kiwanis members have been doing this wonderful donation for approximately 17 years. The club goes on a shopping spree to purchase a variety of school supplies and some misc items that the teachers so badly need to help the children throughout the school year. We also know some of these wonderful and giving teachers are paying for some of these supplies out of their own pockets.
Thank you so much Principal Bill Guerrette, Administrative Secretary Lori Thibodeau and Kaitlyn Butts for letting our club partner up with Pine Street Elementary School again this year. In the picture are Principal Bill Guerrette, Sara Hochradel, Deirdre McMahon, Club Treasurer, Penny McHatten, Asst Club Secretary, Sue Watson, Club Secretary, Dan Amero, Club President, Hillary Lundgren, Club Vice President, Travis Ouellette, Kaitlyn Butts, Social Worker, and Lori Thibodeau, Administrative Secretary.

Travis, Hillary, Sara, Sue & George had so much again at one of our many projects. There was just one little glitch 🫨the popcorn machine decided to take this event off after about 20 bags and the troopers the members are stayed and sold our famous snow cones.
