This May, DAR is honored to celebrate National Historic Preservation Month. Historic preservation is a cornerstone of DARs mission and a vital part of preserving America’s story. Across the country, DAR members work year-round to restore historic sites, preserve archival treasures, and ensure the legacy of our Founding generation endures for future generations.

We are excited to spotlight a recent project to stabilize and restore an original 1819 Binns engraving of the Declaration of Independence for display in the DAR Museum’s latest exhibition, Revolution in Their Words.
