The Texas 4-H Program is honored to recognize our nation’s Military Veterans during the 2026 Texas 4-H Roundup. Two veterans will be randomly selected to receive a Quilt of Valor, handcrafted during the 2025 Texas 4-H Roundup community service project. These quilts serve as a heartfelt tribute to the strength, sacrifice, and service of our veterans.
We'd like to invite you to nominate a veteran for consideration for this honor. Please respect the active-duty member or veteran by obtaining their permission before submitting a nomination, ensuring they are willing to be honored. A person will need to be able to attend the Texas 4-H Roundup on Tuesday, June 2 to be able to participate in the Quilts of Valor ceremony. We will provide the honorees with one night of hotel accommodations (or an equivalent stipend) and four complimentary registrations for that evening’s assembly, during which they will be recognized.
