Premont Cactus 4‑H members proudly donated 97 boxes of tissue to each campus, for a grand total of 194 boxes collected. With such an incredible turnout, the Tissue Drive was a huge success, and our 4‑H youth continue to use their hands for larger service, showing what true community leadership looks like. A heartfelt thank‑you to all our 4‑H families and community supporters who contributed during Saturday’s Tissue Drive. Your generosity made this effort possible, and we truly appreciate everyone’s contribution.

Jim Wells County 4‑H hosted its Awards Banquet on Saturday, August 8th, celebrating youth who truly embody the 4‑H pledge throughout the county. Cactus 4‑H members were recognized for their commitment to hands‑on learning, leadership growth, community service, and some members were recognized for the record books that reflect their year‑long journey.

Thank you to the amazing Cactus 4‑H members who spent their morning helping with the Tissue Drive community service project: Grant, Sebastian, Ryan, Rylee, Joaquin, Lathon, Mia, Ava, Ethan, Helen, George, Teddy, and Zach. Your hard work and dedication truly make a difference. We couldn’t have done this without the parents who helped their children be part of today. Thank you for showing up in every way.

We also want to thank our community for supporting these young members. We had a great turnout and truly appreciate everyone who contributed.
