It was certainly a rainy day, but a good day Cuyahoga Valley National Park for the sturgeon release. Many came by to see the display of fish we pulled from the Cuyahoga River that morning, and hear about Ohio’s diverse ecosystem.
The fish collected, displayed/discussed, and released:
Northern hogsucker
Common shiner
Green sunfish
Bluegill
Yellow bullhead
Crayfish
Rainbow darter
Black nose dace
Central stoneroller
River chub
Greenside darter
Johnny darter
Spotfin shiner
Special thanks to the park staff for their support and collaboration during the event!
