We celebrated our annual Donuts & Degrees ceremony. Thank you to all who joined us this year! We had a total of 38 new handprints that were put on the wall; 26 Greenhand Degree recipients, 8 Chapter Degree recipients and 4 American Degree recipients.

Fair Animal Tagging is going to be Tuesday, May 19th in Powell this year! It will start at 5pm and go until 7pm. If this date and time does not work for you, no worries!
⭐Meetese has a tagging day on Monday, May 18th at the Meetese FFA Barn, it goes from 7pm to 8pm.
⭐Cody is holding their tagging on Saturday, May 16th at the Cody FFA barn, it goes from 10am-12pm.

If you plan on bringing an animal(s) to the Park County Fair this year and selling one, you are REQUIRED to come to one of the 3 locations for tagging. You will NOT be allowed to sell your animal if it is not tagged!!!

🟥Rate of Gain is a small contest where fairboard members compare your animal’s weight now and then when you actually bring it to fair in the summer, it is just to see who’s animal gains the most weight! The contest is only being offered at the Powell Tagging, the weight scales for all species are going to be towards the back of the fairgrounds, next to the sheep and pig barns.

Tomorrow is our annual Baby Animal Day! We will have some classes from the elementary come out to the AG barn and see all of our baby animals that our chapter members volunteered to supply. If you are not in the committe and did not get called down to Mr.Curdy’s classroom for a meeting on Tuesday, then you are NOT excused for the day. For those members who are excused, please wear your FFA chapter merch so that we can represent our chapter + be at the AG barn when school starts, do NOT go to your first period class! Those of you who are bringing animals, please bring them Thursday morning before 8am!! If you need assistance with bringing your animal, Mr.Curdy will be available to pick up a certain amount with the FFA trailer, please contact him TODAY if you need to!!
