In 2024-25, Eden Share planted thousands of native and non-native flowers to support pollinators because we knew it was the right thing to do and it supports our crops.

In August 2026, we were awarded a grant from Attorney General Letitia James and the New York Community Trust to complete this project and preserve pollinator habitats at the Fallkill Community Garden.

We are so grateful for this opportunity!

As of today, Eden Share has donated over 2,000 pounds of vegetables to food security efforts in 2026. The actual number is 2,130.40...but who's counting? Thank you Chef Chris, Olive Avery, and Chef Thomas for your service at Dutchess Outreach.

Yesterday was my last session with Comunilife, Inc. - Life Is Precious and they made me a thank you card. I enjoyed sharing vegetables with their families and teaching them a bit about regenerative gardening. They are an amazing group of young women and I look forward to working with them in 2027.

Our mission is to promote physical and emotional wellness through community agriculture. We also grow amazing food that we share with the community. This week Eden Share donated 288 pounds of vegetables to Dutchess Outreach and over 1200 year to date.

Volunteer Day Reminder: tomorrow Saturday August 15 10 AM - 12:30. We will be harvesting vegetables for Sparrow's Nest and some for volunteers. The Wellness Garden at 29 North Hamilton Street behind the building. Please register at www.edenshare.org/volunteer.

What an incredible volunteer morning with the Finance Department at Family Services and Olive Avery. We accomplished in 3 hours, what would have taken me months. And we harvested 218 pounds of vegetables that were donated to Dutchess Outreach! Very proud to be a member of the Family Partnership Center! Thank you all!!!

Eden Share has its largest gardens at Family Services, however, we also work with a small but mighty garden at People USA on 102 Fulton Avenue. This is our second season and some fun photos.

A productive Monday! We delivered over 100 pounds of fresh vegetables to our favorite food security organizations: Sparrow's Nest and Dutchess Outreach.

This summer, Eden Share began working with Comunilife, Inc. - Life is Precious. This innovative after-school suicide-prevention program helps Latina adolescents age 12-18 in Poughkeepsie find their unique voices and engage in community activities. Here are just a few pictures.
