Monthly Snack Pack Saturday Pickup is TOMORROW! April 4th, 10am-12pm at the Annex building behind Potsdam Middle School. There will be a box of non-perishable items as well as eggs and frozen items including chicken. Any child signed up for Snack Pack or Potsdam Headstart may pickup!

Last night was one of those moments that truly reminds us why this program matters so much.
We had an incredible group of volunteers, so many students stepping up to help pack Snack Packs for their peers. Watching kids help kids is something really special.
What made it even more meaningful were the donations… some of them coming from children who chose to give their own birthday money to support this program. That kind of generosity is hard to put into words, it’s simply heartwarming.
As we head into spring break, we know how important it is that our students have access to food when they’re not in school. Because of this community — these volunteers, these young leaders, and these thoughtful donors, we’re able to make that happen.
We are so grateful.

📣 Attention Potsdam Central School District 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students!

The Northern New York Community Foundation is inviting students in grades 7–9 to explore their view of “community” and select a local charity for a grant award that makes their community a great place to live. Winners receive $1,000 to donate to the nonprofit of their choice! 💛

Students who care about fighting hunger locally are encouraged to consider the Potsdam Snack Pack Program, which helps ensure kids have food on weekends.🎒🍎

📣 Snack Pack Families
A reminder that Monthly Saturday Pickup is tomorrow from 10–12 PM at the Annex building behind AAK Middle School.
Students will receive two bags:
🛍️ Nonperishable bag with heavier/bulkier items
🥦 Fridge/frozen bag filled with fresh fruits, veggies, chicken or plant-based options.

A great event bringing together the Village and Town of Potsdam to raise money for the local snack pack programs. Thank you!

🌊🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Community Spirit in Action!

The Village and Town of Potsdam’s 2nd Annual Tri-Beach Triathlon was another great success! This late-summer event brought together athletes, families, and volunteers for a fun-filled day celebrating our local parks and beaches, all while giving back to our community.

Thanks to everyone’s participation and support, we’re proud to share that the event raised $800 for the Norwood-Norfolk and Potsdam Snack Pack Programs, helping to provide weekend food bags for students in our local schools.

A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who swam, biked, ran, and volunteered, your involvement makes events like this possible!

Good morning If you signed your student up for Snack Packs this school year and checked the box for Saturday pickups, it’s always the 1st Saturday of the month, which for October, is today! Saturday’s we provide snacks that may be a little cumbersome for students to get home on the typical Friday. Think big boxes, frozen items, and canned goods. Pickup is from 10am-12pm at the Annex building behind the middle school!
