I think every human wants to know this ❤️

Children of all ages need this reassurance, I think. Even adults struggle with separating behavior (what I did) from identity (who I am) — particularly in moments when we have “behaved poorly.”

As parents and as educators, we’re so lucky to be in a position to remind children that our love is unconditional and to help them learn to understand their emotions as the way to regulate their behavior.

Tomorrow from 12-3! The boxes contain meat, produce, and non perishables! All you have to do is fill out an intake packet and it's yours!

If you need an intake packet please ask!

If you can't make it by 3, fill out and leave the intake packet and we can hold your box until you get there!

Agreed. There's no such thing as tough love. That's controlling by fear.

The world organically and repeatedly provides so many opportunities for children to “learn a lesson.” We don’t have to create those opportunities to “toughen them up” or “prepare them.”

IMO, “soft” isn’t a bad thing; it’s just evidence of a strong heart that still works ❤️
