She is just 24 years old and has been diagnosed with severe, widespread Crohn’s disease.
Despite working full-time and caring for her 1-year-old daughter, she faces frequent illness and missed work due to medical appointments.

There is treatment available that could help her go into remission — but insurance has denied coverage, leaving her to face the costs on her own.
