Trying to navigate grief? Let us help!

Join us at the Healing Hearts Together Grief Workshop this Saturday, May 25th.

What is grief?

Grief is an important part of mental health that is often overlooked. Grief is not just about death but also about life transitions such as changes in your abilities, the ending of relationships, and so much more that impacts the way we function.

During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to:

✔️ learn about the different types of grief
✔️ learn effective ways to deal with grief
✔️ ask questions to mental health experts
✔️ share your experiences

Here are all the details:

When: Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 10am - Doors open at 9:30am

Where: Fellowship Hall at New Paul's Temple, 720 Hosier Rd. Suffolk, VA 23434

Our Founder and President will be speaking at this month's Mental Health Awareness Event: Healing Hearts Together.

Dr. Natasha Jones holds many accolades, including professional licensure in multiple states. She is a practicing professional counselor and addictions practitioner, specializing in trauma resolution.

Dr. Jones will share her wealth of experience in dealing with grief with community members who join together to navigate their grief.

If you or someone close to you is struggling with grief or trying to make sense of loss, join us this Saturday, May 25th at 10am at New Pauls Temple Holiness Church of Deliverance.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be served.

💚May is Mental Health Awareness Month💚

One aspect of mental health that commonly goes overlooked in our community is grief.

➡️ Grief is not limited to death.
➡️ Grief is about loss.
➡️ Life changes can cause grief!
➡️ Relationships can cause grief!
➡️ Body and health changes can cause grief!
➡️ Almost every area of your life can contribute to grief.

So if you or someone you know is grieving, join us on Saturday, May 25 in our Healing Hearts Together workshop where you will receive compassionate support, understanding, and healing.

This workshop is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

We really love serving our community 💜

Today we were out and about in the Eastern Shore for our annual Back to School Event with Michelle I. Tinner and Love Thy Neighbor.

After all the fun in the sun 🌞 (and wind 💨💨), we had the opportunity to stop by Walmart Onley and say THANK YOU in person to some of the team who made the decision to award our organization the grant that supported this event. This grant helped us serve literally hundreds today!
