WARM DEEP STRETCH offers an immersive, head-to-toe nervous system reset. This weekly class is designed to unbind the "stuck" tension of a desk-heavy day and soothe the shaky fatigue of a hard workout. By blending functional *HATHA* alignment with long, juicy *YIN* inspired holds, we reach past the surface layers to hydrate the deep tissues of the neck, shoulders, back, and hips. This feels like a slow, steady unfolding that gives you the time to actually inhabit your body again.

The room is kept at a nurturing, gentle warmth; just enough to lubricate your joints and signal your body that it’s finally safe to soften.

Truly for every body, we use all the props and offer plenty of options to ensure you find your depth.

This practice entails more than just the obvious physical release. We are living in entirely stressful times, facing pressures that are different than ever before. Now more than ever, we need to cultivate depth and balance within ourselves before we can authentically interact with the world. By coming together to breathe and connect with our bodies, we become better equipped to serve our communities and the people around us. Our peace is a ripple; it touches everything and everyone we come into contact with. Your practice serves the whole world.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Rachel Walsh has been teaching yoga full-time since 2004, with over 60,000 hours of experience and advanced certifications in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and trauma-informed care. SOMATIC RELEASE *SOUND BATH* — THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 2 @ 5PM — blends therapeutic sound, vibration, and gentle body-based awareness practices to calm the nervous system and release stored physical, mental, and emotional tension.

This monthly practice opens with PMR (Progressive Muscle Relaxation) techniques to ease the body before surrendering to the resonance of crystal singing bowls, harp, hypnotic percussion, and soft guidance into a state of deep relaxation. Somatic sound therapy can help you unblock survival energies (such as fight, flight, or freeze responses) that became trapped during overwhelming or traumatic events.

Whether you’re seeking rest, clarity, nervous system support, or simply a moment to reconnect with yourself, this workshop offers a safe and nurturing space. All bodies and all identities are welcome — whether you’re new to sound baths or returning to venture deeper.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Charlie Sebastian Short is a certified sound practitioner, musician, and caregiver based in Portland. His work draws from the Quantum Sound Method, classical music training, and years of supporting both humans and animals with patience and care. He approaches sound healing as nervous system support, using harmonious instruments to encourage rest, calm, and emotional ease. As a mixed-race, LGBTQIA+, and neurodivergent practitioner, Charlie creates an inclusive space where all bodies and identities can access comfort and relaxation.

KUNDALINI TA***IC TAROT YOGA explores the Totality of OurSelves — our physical body, mental attention, emotional self, and energy system through the practice of Kundalini yoga postures and exercises, Ta***ic imagination and activation, meditation and mantra, and use of Tarot imagery as guidance. This practice works to create a somatic experience with the symbols of the Tarot, focusing on a different card every week. Each session we will weave our dreams and intentions into our practice to create a vibrant experience together.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: "I am a yogini, middle school teacher at ACCESS Academy in Portland Oregon, and co-director of the School of Cosmic Consciousness. I am passionate about the connections between creativity, movement, and health. I have taught yoga, and dance to couples, adults, and youth in many settings since the 1990s. Consider this your prescription for restoration: BREATH + SOUND MEDICINE — a DUAL-MODALITY workshop bridging the physiological power of breath with the vibrational medicine of sound. This session begins with active *BREATHWORK* to clear stagnant energy and transitions into an immersive *SOUND BATH* featuring Himalayan singing bowls and deep, primordial tones of gong.

As the sound waves wash over you, your brain activity shifts from the high-frequency Beta state associated with stress, anxiety, and constant thought into the restorative Theta realm. This is the space between wakefulness and sleep where the subconscious mind opens, deep relaxation takes hold, and inner peace becomes your natural state. This process is deeply calming and restful, acting as a profound aid in emotional and physiological healing.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Katrina Cantu is a 1500-hour certified yoga teacher, Reiki I & II practitioner, and lifelong student of self-realization, wellness, and holistic healing. Her teaching blends Hatha, Kriya, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Gentle Yoga — integrating breath, movement, and mindfulness to create a practice that is energizing, grounding, and deeply calming.

Katrina’s classes are welcoming to all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. With a strong focus on breath and awareness, she offers variations and modifications to support each individual’s unique journey.

Come together EVERY FRIDAY EVENING to exhale the week and support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being — free from judgment, expectations, or the need to perform. We celebrate all bodies, all identities, and all levels!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:

KSW is a passionate yoga teacher and Lighthouse co-owner who has been sharing the transformative benefits of yoga since 2015. Her teaching centers on creating a welcoming, supportive space where students of all backgrounds and experience levels can explore movement, breath, and mindful connection with their bodies. KSW's classes draw from hatha, vinyasa, and restorative traditions, blending strength, mobility, relaxation, and intentional breathing to support overall full-body wellness. Tess Hua is a Lighthouse co-owner who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. Tess' style of teaching is inspired by the modalities of all of the incredible yogis that they have learned from throughout years of practice, including vinyasa, hatha, kundalini, and pilates. They think of themselves as a guide rather than a teacher, believing that yoga practitioners are their own teachers, understanding their body's capabilities better than anybody else. Tess offers an experience for those wanting to step outside of the decorum of typical yoga classes, encouraging questions, concerns and laughter. While being respectful to the origins of yoga, they try to create an accessible and relatable space by using contemporary language and music.

THERE IS NO MOUNTAIN There Is No Mountain is a Portland-based five-piece band led by longtime collaborators Kali Giaritta and Matt Harmon whose genre-defying music weaves together folk, jazz, classical, psychedelic rock, world music, and pop.

THE GLYPTODONS is a Portland band consisting of educators and musicians with a style featuring indie, folk, and rock elements.
