Please join us in giving a warm Chamber welcome to the Jay Noon Network Optimist Club!

As a proud club affiliated with Optimist International, this dedicated nonprofit is committed to making Jay County a stronger, healthier, and more compassionate community. We want to congratulate The Jay County Food Access and Security Task Force, recipients of the 2026 Healthy Community Alliance "100,000 Award" in Memory of Dr. George Branam during the annual Healthy Community Alliance Recognition Luncheon this week.

Through their collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank, they helped establish new food distribution sites across rural Jay County - where one grocery store serves nearly 400 square miles - and worked with multiple partners to secure funding for food, supported back-to-school events, and expanded access to community health and wellness programs, including screenings that are improving lives.

What they built is truly impressive -a strong and connected web of support that includes faith-based organizations, civic partners, food banks, volunteers, and many others who share a commitment to making a difference.
