Portland Rose Festival's Fleet Week Colors ceremony is tomorrow, June 3rd.

The public is invited to gather in the heart of CityFair’s carnival for a Navy Colors Ceremony. This special Portland Rose Festival event is presented by

Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association has been hosting Dragon Boat Races as part of Portland Rose Festival since 1989. This event celebrates an ancient tradition, starting with the awakening of the dragons and culminating in the exciting race weekend. This year the racing teams will include Portland City Council, Kaohsiung City Council, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson and the City Administration.

🐲 Mark your calendars for next weekend’s Elected Official Cup, part of the 2026 Portland Rose Festival and presented by the Portland-Kaohsiung Sister City Association.

On Saturday, June 6 at 12 p.m., Portland City Council, Kaohsiung City Council, and Portland Mayor Keith Wilson and the City Administration team will face-off in a dragon boat race competition. You can watch the whole thing—and catch more than 60 local, national, and international teams throughout the weekend—from Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
