Food is one of the most important components of our program for mothers and their children. Lack of food forces some mothers into s*x work so they can feed their children, other mothers can’t get out of s*x work as this is the only way they can find to feed their children. We have a great start to 2026! A mom needed a C-section, but she is well and has a healthy baby. Because she needed a C-section, without our program and Silver Cross Hospital in Abuja, Nigeria, the outcome for both this mom and baby could’ve been very different. We have also provided funding for another group of moms and their children in Nigeria to have food on Christmas. Thanks to our partner IY-WHAD for putting together these nutritious food baskets. The moms and their children always need food. You could feed a family for $5 dollars a day or $150 a month. Please support a mom and her children on our website. Thanks and merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all the moms who make so many sacrifices to feed and care for their children, and to their children, and our partners. This is the food for a group of moms and their children in Nigeria. We provided the funding and one of our local partners purchased a food and prepared a meal. This meal would not be possible without the general support of our donors, which we greatly appreciate.

While these moms and their children will have food today, they will be hungry again tomorrow, but we are out of funding. From our excess, let us provide for their basic needs.

In the short term, they need food; in the long-term, they need support to start a small business, which cost $600. This Christmas, join with your family and friends to help a mom start a new life for herself and her children. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
