Another one joins the ranks. Another spark for the Kenton fire.

Last night, Brother Raul Ramirez was initiated as an Entered Apprentice in classic Kenton style: powerful ritual, elevated experience, and brothers who show up strong.

It was a night of brotherhood, precision, and a few new twists: new roles, improved music, and the debut of a new nickname—Brother Raul “Ironblood” Ramirez. If you were there, you know exactly why he earned it.

Kenton’s culture isn’t just alive, it’s ROARING. And this weekend, it continues with the Kenton Horde attending an outdoor degree at McMillan Ranch and a brotherhood BBQ to close it out.

Work hard. Show up. Earn your name. That’s the Kenton way.

This past Saturday, we joined our Prince Hall brothers for the Annual Albert Barbecue and it was everything we hoped for. From mouthwatering ribs and barbecue chicken to good music, ci**rs, co****le, and even better company, it was a beautiful afternoon of unity and fellowship.

Brotherly love was definitely alive and well, and we’re already looking forward to the next gathering.

Kenton Lodge hosted its first-ever bowling night last Thursday at Grand Central Bowl! It was a great chance to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time with our brothers and their loved ones. With great food, drinks, and even a special gift for the ladies, the night was a perfect blend of fellowship and fun. Safe to say, this one’s getting a sequel.

Last night, we welcomed Mr. Kevin Johnson as our newest Entered Apprentice—and we did it in true Kenton fashion: powerful ritual, dramatic music, and a few memorable “firsts” from our officers. From impressive floor work by WB Palileo and RWB Presswood, to debut performances from WB Andrew, Brother Shaw, and Brother Aranda, the night was full of heart and high standards.

To top it off, Brother Johnson received a Masonic dagger used in his degree—a new tradition we're proud to continue.

Hot on the heels of MWB Tim Best's visit last month, the lodge formally received their district deputy RWB Adam Bayer last Thursday during his final official visit to the lodge.

To mark the occasion, the lodge also invited Grand Orator WB John Lohrfink to give a talk.
