We were honored to welcome Roger Steele and KemperSports to the Leisure Hour Jr. Golf Program last week.

During his visit, Roger commented on our program pledge, which was created by Ruth Scurlock in 2011 and has been proudly recited by our junior golfers every week ever since. It serves as a reminder of the values that guide our program both on and off the course.

At Leisure Hour Jr. Golf Program, we believe in exposure, experiences, opportunities, and representation.

Roger Steele, thank you for not only talking the talk but also walking the walk by helping make the game of golf more welcoming and accessible for all. Your visit inspired our youth, and we appreciate your commitment to growing the game.

What an incredible day! ⛳️🔥

We were honored to welcome Roger Steele—entrepreneur, golf enthusiast, and one of the biggest voices making golf more inclusive and accessible for all communities—to the Leisure Hour Jr. Golf Program.

His visit brought energy, inspiration, and plenty of fun as he connected with our young golfers, shared his passion for the game, and reminded everyone that golf is for everyone.

Thank you, Roger, for spending time with our youth and inspiring the next generation of leaders on and off the course! 💚🖤
