We meet to discuss the issues and work on our message, in our final meeting we talk with State Legislators and Federal Congress members.

It is super important right now to get involved with the folks who make decisions about funding and laws.

Our other project for May-June is addressing comments we are hearing about children (ages 0-17) who are getting paid supports by parents.
Our group supports parents being paid, but we want safe guards in this so children with disabilities still have their voices heard.
0-17 is a large age group with many different needs and milestones.
We all deserve a say in our supports and services.

In May we worked on submitting written comment on PGE Rate increases for 2025.

They are asking for another 7% increase in 2025, but are not clear on what this funding is actually for.

We found a lot of data that shows they are doing another increase to not only increase their profits, but make it easier to give yearly increases.

Utilities are a human right and not a commodity.
Here is our letter, we submitted a more formal one to PGE.

Check out this really helpful webpage that helps with task, communication and meals!
It will break down task into steps, help you with the tone of written communication, you can even enter in a "brain dump" and it will organize your brain dump for you, enter in your ingredients and it will give you a recipe

The more ingredients, the more elaborate the dish. You can give extra details around equipment you have, your ability, or anything else you think is relevant.
