MFO is looking for input, insight and feedback from industry stakeholders on Maine’s current and proposed visual media incentive program. Please consider signing up so that you can make sure your voice is heard and you can stay informed. Halloween is just around the corner, a fun and spooky time to be in New England. Did you know the original 1989 Pet Sematary was filmed in Maine? The novel and screenplay, written by Stephen King, came to life (and death😱) in multiple locations in this beautiful state.

We are deeply saddened to learn about the loss of a dear friend and incredible actor, Treat Williams. He was an honorary chair at the Picture Maine gala this past October. We will always remember his incredible kindness and passion for film. Our condolences go out to his family.
