Police are present, at least 4 throughout the school grounds. Not allowing people into the office lobby under the schools own visitor policy.
THE POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND. They are the swords of the state and will not fight for your rights. Until they give the people they are supposed to protect, the support they need THEY ARE THE ENEMY.
A 13 year old girl is being detained without her MOTHER by TEACHERS. She is a minor with no witnesses to advocate for her.

A students mask medical exemption is not being honored. Yesterday she was forced to carry papers and be segregated from other students. She refuses to carry papers today. She was held in a room with 4 adults who interrogated her without a parent present! They are trying to physically remove her from the school! NOT ON OUR WATCH!!!!! Her mom has just been trespassed. Police have been called. Please get there now to stand with Melanie!!!!!! She has a right to attend school!

THE TIME TO STAND FOR PEOPLES RIGHTS IS TODAY!! ALL GROUPS AND ORGANIZERS MUST UNITE BEHIND THIS FAMILY!!!

Beaverton School Board is hiding behind their zoom meeting as a way to avoid facing parents who disagree with their unethical decisions.
Next MONDAY, 8/30 starts at 5:30pm
Be there. Make yourself heard. Support other parents.
It does not matter if this is not your district, we have to show up in numbers. Flood the parking lot, let Beaverton School Board know we will NOT be shut out of school board discussions without in person comment.
Enough is ENOUGH.

Come join us for demonstration of peaceful non-compliance! This is an opportunity to have fun with our protest, create community, laugh play and generally celebrate life and our freedoms.

It’s imperative that we show up in force to these things. Power and safety in numbers. If there was ever a time to come out and make your voices heard the time is now. There are MANY events happening this weekend, next week and for the whole month and we need YOU THERE to make the movement powerful and impactful.

Hi all.
As I know you are all probably aware, we have been mandated to once again cover our faces by Governor Kate Brown.

Before she announced her mandate however it was publicly announced Monday that Multnomah County Chairwoman Deborah Kafoury signed an executive order mandating that we would once again go back into masking indoors, regardless of vaccination status, starting this Friday 8/13.

Chairwoman Deborah Kafoury signed an executive order to force us into masks again. She was the only county chair to do so in Oregon. Even though the whole state is set to be masked again, the point still stands. She betrayed all of us, the vaccinated and unvaccinated when she signed that executive order and needs to be held accountable.

That being said:

We are having a party in front of her house! We are protesting, singing, dancing, shouting, all that good stuff. We will be BBQing and playing games AND, in compliance with local ordinances, we are also camping out! Bring your signs, games, and a positive attitude.

Every time we come together like this it is an opportunity to create community, stronger networks and to effect change. It begins with us. We are Stronger Together.
