Meet the Chaos Coordinators Behind Be The Village Foundation
✨And yes, that’s Kelly officiating our wedding. The one we pulled together in 5 days because we woke up and said, “Why the hell not? Let’s finally do this.” No grand plans, no Pinterest boards, just love, chaos, a random forest, and my best friend legally binding us for life. Wouldn’t have had it any other way. ✨
🖤 Brynn – Hey, I’m Brynn. Founder, President, and professional chaos coordinator behind Be The Village Foundation.
I started this organization because I was (and honestly still am) the mom crying in the bathroom, wondering how anyone does this without help. I’ve got three feral, beautiful, exhausting kids under 8, a forever messy house, and a deep belief that no parent should have to survive this season alone.
I’m the kind of mom who’ll show up to your house, while Im 36 weeks pregnant, with a home made casserole and a baby wrap. Just because you texted me that the baby wont stop crying and you haven’t eaten a hot meal in three days. The kind of mom who will do a grocery run and clean the house while your in the hospital recovering from a c section. The one to show up when you are in the thick of it with a bucket of cleaning supplies and groceries. Helping with the kids, cooking dinner and helping clean, then chatting till 12am because that third baby just hits different.
I run this foundation in a mom bun that could qualify as a safety hazard. A wardrobe consisting 90% of pajamas, usually covered in some combination of spit-up and snack dust. But my heart? It’s in this 1000%.
💙 Nick – Vice President, Nick is our quiet strength, the guy who prefers the background but stepped into the spotlight because he knows how much support matters. As Vice President of Be The Village Foundation (and Brynn’s husband), he’s using his own experience as a dad who’s felt overwhelmed, overlooked, and under-supported to help build something better.
He’s here for the dads who don’t know where to start, who carry a lot silently, and who maybe just need someone to say, “Yeah man, this is hard, and you’re doing great.”
He’s not the loudest in the room, but he’s the first to listen, show up, and fix the thing you didn’t even know was broken. He’s doing his best, for you, for his family, and for every dad out there who feels like they’re just barely keeping it together.
🩷 Kelly- Treasurer- My name is Kelly! I’m a mom and a marketing professional, constantly juggling nap schedules, campaign deadlines, and everything in between. I couldn’t do any of it without my village. My friends and family are the reason I can show up to anything at all. So when Brynn came to me with the idea for this nonprofit, it wasn’t just a brilliant idea…it was the most Brynn thing ever. A little thing about Brynn, she goes all in on everything she does. Just last year she was nine months pregnant, due with her son just four weeks after I had my daughter, and she still found time to meal prep for me when I was overwhelmed and recovering. That’s just who she is. And that’s what this nonprofit is about—showing up for parents the way Brynn showed up for me.
We’re just a group of exhausted but determined parents trying to build the village we all wish we had. We’re here to support, uplift, and occasionally overshare while doing it.
