What a night… I had a real hard time sleeping and staying asleep… and when I would fall asleep have nightmares and wake myself up… crazy part is I was dreaming about the pups as I am always worried about their safety and wellbeing… apparently worried about the puppy affected my dreams…

I had a nice long conversation with an ACO in another county yesterday… the ACO talked about everything that they are doing for Article 26C the assessment they have to do within 2 hours, all the paperwork, documentations of each and every little thing, tests, the requirements and all they have to do… what I liked about the stuff with the pups and assessments I have always done, so it wasn’t anything that I wouldn’t disagree that should be done, not only for human safety yet for the care and safety of the pups.

The paperwork however is A LOT!!! lol I’ll be honest I am not a paper pusher… so all this is going to be a learning curve… What surprised me is how much they knew about so many rescues and those with businesses for animals… all the businesses that stopped with helping cats, dogs etc physically because of Article 26C and all the home rescues and shelters that have closed all because of Article 26C… I was in awe how much they knew everywhere and all that was going on, it was truly mind blowing, impressive and yet made me sad…

Well I have to make the best of the day and get what we can get done, definitely a limbing day… well I’m off and hope you all have a great day…

Well, had a little scare as my friend thought something was wrong with a puppies hind leg, so off I went to check to see if we had to bring the little one to the emergency vet… well that was a relief as nothing was wrong… well when momma saw me she was so excited and howled… She came out of her crate and sat right in front of me so I kneeled down and gave her lovins and she gave me tons of kisses… and when I stood up she jumped up gently on me and I just gave her more lovins… her tail going a mile a minute and I talked to her and asked her about her babies and we went right over to where they were… she laid down with them and I checked out the little pork chops!!! I checked them out everywhere even though the concern was a leg, thank goodness nothing was wrong and nothing bothering the puppy…

Ya know I can’t say enough how much I love each and every one of these pups…

I really don’t talk about all the things we do or all the time we spend surrounded by them just giving them all the lovins as they shower us with kisses, slobber and snuggles…

Ya know we share back stories and really don’t mention the back story again until they find their furever home…

We don’t talk about every pup or share every pup we help, save or take in… why? Well because this is about them not hey look what we are doing… When people visit people get to meet them all even our pups because this is all about happiness… love… joy… kindness… and smiles. People get to see first hand and whether visiting, healing hearts of others, or looking for a connection, this is where our work is ❤️…

Well pups are all hunkered down and it’s time to call it a night as I way over did it today…

Good Morning! Up to Tessa and Tora arguing about NOTHING! just to bark and bitch in each other’s faces like a contest THEN look at me like “what?” 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ How about SLEEP instead because I would have LOVED to be still asleep, ya jerkies!!! I believe Tora’s coat is finally back to normal lol and she reminds us of an otter 😂

Definitely tired this morning, headed to get more coffee already…

Well hopefully we will finish up the 12x20 and get all the pallets in the back for now so we can trim up the trees in the front… Definitely need more dirt next week but have to prep the space for 20 tons of dirt to be brought in as I think a great idea is to fill the backyard with another 6 inch layer of dirt and lay a barrier down so we don’t have to fill massive holes 🤔❤️

Well I have to make some calls as the police called us about some seized huskies… we will see what we can do to help as always.

Again we would like to truly thank you all for helping us on our mission to make these pups lives better!!!

Ugh such a long day… but also a fun project… put up half the 12x20 and have to level everything out so more dirt…

Well we are going to close Sophie’s Birthday Campaign as we exceeded our goal! Someone dropped $1000 and Sophie reached her goal, so there is no need to keep it open to try and get more. We would like to thank everyone for making Sophie’s First ever campaign for the pups successful! I’m sure you all understand as a Dad, ya know this helps grow confidence in herself or any one of our children that would be in her shoes… So thank you as you all have my deepest gratitude!!!

We built an Adirondack frame for the screen today as well, it looks absolutely beautiful and I need to give it a nice lacquer yet this really made my day as they say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy 🤪…

Had some friends come and help out a bit as that is always greatly appreciated!!! Well some stuff came up this evening so this evening didn’t go as planned so we are trying to enjoy the rest of the night… well I hope you all enjoy the rest of tonight and

Ooopphhh… it’s a chilly morning lol, I think it was 50°F pups out and right to making a fire… breakfast served and pups back out horsing around.

Oh I apologize for some misinformation I gave yesterday… as we are pretty new to this fundraising platform I didn’t realize that since it’s an independent campaign it does work until the end of the month and I am not sure if it closes on its own or we close it 🤷🏽 whatever the case may be and hopefully can raise the $747.00… (Sophie’s 18th Birthday Campaign is pinned on the top of our page)

So I do want to mention something about what we are doing. We are not here for a name or to be known, this isn’t a contest for us, we don’t care about the rat race nor are we about stepping on or stabbing anyone in the back in rescue… we are not here to be the number one… just a family trying to do what’s best for this breed… to help them, that’s all nothing else…

We did the non for profit as what we have been doing had become something larger than we ever thought we were doing as word of mouth of what we were doing spread(that’s the best compliment ever)… and we honestly thought the rescue world would be all open arms but it’s not…

Some have been, yet those have been the larger well known rescues who have been truly welcoming and helpful! Thank you!

We aren’t trying to make this a competition with anyone… call us ignorant or dumb yet we truly thought all of this is about the animals for everyone… it’s not.

Yet the positive is, we appreciate letting us know our spirit is good with what we are about and helping our community. We will remain that way until we can no longer afford helping. We refuse to make this a competition or about money…

All my excitement to help this breed sometimes weighs heavy dealing with the back of house things we hear, killing the joy of all that we are trying to do…

I want to state something right now… We actually hope everyone succeeds for the animals sake! No matter if you are only in it for fame, glory or a name, with many using animals to generate money… you do you…

We see that it pi**es people off that we are about the huskies not ourselves, not the money, not the name… sorry not sorry that makes your spirit feel anger towards us… maybe you should grow up and stop being fake!

We aren’t rich and so what if we are extremely happy with sharing our lives with the pups, simply having a fire and our Temu Screen and projector… if that’s what makes you angry lol your life must be extremely miserable!!! BTW the screen was a 1 penny the stand was 1 penny and the projector was 16 dollars and the fire was free 😆😆😆

Well enough rambling… We have things to get done today… we all hope you enjoy your weekend and talk to you all later…

It really stinks that you can’t do pictures and videos anymore… yeah I know it’s been awhile since we could do it yet it still stinks… well other than that it’s been a productive day!

Even a baby bunny said hi lol…

Pups are all laying out side with us and we are all watching “Rescued By Ruby” it’s a nice quiet night and we are making the best of it… Well Sophie and I are eating giant bowls of ice cream and enjoying life under the stars…
