🏙️🏃‍♀️ Calumet Region Striders took it to the streets of Chicago for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon! 🏅

For some, it was their very first marathon. For others, it’s become an annual tradition. But no matter how your journey began or how many times you’ve toed the starting line, one thing matters most: YOU KEEP SHOWING UP AND KEEP MOVING FORWARD! 💪❤️

Some chased a personal best, while others reached that incredible BQ (Boston Qualifier!) — even in another state! 👀👏 Way to go, Elaine Hendricks!

Every runner has a different story, a different goal, and a different reason for starting. That’s the beauty of this running community. We celebrate the first-timers, the seasoned marathoners, the PRs, the BQs, and everyone who refuses to give up.

Congratulations, Striders! You took on Chicago, made memories, and reminded us all that the journey is just as important as the finish line!

⛰️🏃‍♀️ Striders Take on Run for the Hills 5K! 🏃‍♂️🏅

The Calumet Region Striders showed up in a BIG way at the Run for the Hills 5K in Crown Point! 💙💛 And our Junior Striders REALLY showed up! 🙌 Watching our young runners get out there, put in the work, and represent the club makes us proud!

From earning some bling 🏅 to cheering each other on, it was another great reminder that running is about more than finish times — it’s about building confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of the sport.

Congratulations to all our Striders, big and small! Keep showing up, putting in the miles, and making our running community stronger! 🎉

Run the Region. Run with the Striders! 💙💛

🏆 Something to Celebrate! 🏃‍♀️❤️

Congratulations to Gracelynn Taylor on being the Overall Female finisher! That’s certainly something to celebrate! 🎉

But running is about so much more than the results. It’s about running an impressive time, pushing yourself, showing up, and celebrating the accomplishments of others.

It’s about the camaraderie across the entire running community—from the front of the pack to the back, from PRs to personal victories, and everything in between.

We celebrate Gracelynn’s accomplishment, but we also celebrate EVERY runner who shows up and gives it their all. That’s what makes this community so special. ❤️

Run. Support. Celebrate. Stride together! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏃‍♀️ From Jr. Striders to marathons… from leading the race to pacing the pack… from fast to slow, near to far — it’s all about the STRIDE. ❤️

Running looks different for everyone. Some chase PRs. Some run for the miles. Some walk, jog, race, pace, or simply show up.

But no matter your pace or your distance, every step is a step toward being healthier, stronger, and more connected to our community.

That’s what being a Strider is all about. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Different paces. Different goals. One Strider family.

Keep moving. Keep encouraging. Keep STRIDING! 💙
