Ripple Effects Community Inclusion Center We provide a welcoming space where kids, teens, and families of all abilities can learn, play, and grow together.

Through inclusive clubs, educational programs, and community events, we help build skills, confidence, and meaningful connections.

STARTING MAY 5!!! ISK, with ASK Family Services is offering a virtual “Caring for Children” class, designed to support parents and caregivers in building strong, healthy relationships with children!

Participants will learn how to:
• Foster secure bonds
• Cultivate emotional safety
• Strengthen nurturing attachments
• Develop self-care strategies

Class Details:
📅 Every Tuesday starting May 5th
⏰ 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
💻 Virtual (accessible from home)

This class can also be used toward parenting hours requirements.

💰 Cost: Just $11.50/hour (thanks to a grant covering 75% for families without Medicaid!)

🌞 Summer Day Camp at Ripple Effects is HERE! 🌈

We’re excited to announce our 2026 Summer Camp Schedule — designed with inclusion, fun, and individualized support at the center of everything we do.

📅 Camp Dates: June 8 – August 20 (11 weeks)
🕘 Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
💲 Cost: $250/week
➕ Friday Add-On: $65

📝 Registration Details
• Online registration opens May 2 at 8:00 AM
• $30 deposit per week due at registration
• Remaining $220 due two weeks before each camp week

👥 Small Group Sizes (only 6 spots per group!)
• Ages 4–7
• Ages 8–12
• Ages 13–17
✨ 2:6 adult-to-camper ratio for high-quality support

💡 Need more individualized support?
We offer Community Living Supports (CLS) alongside camp for children who benefit from 1:1 support and a personalized, goals-based learning plan.

✔ Referrals accepted from ISK, Pivotal, OnPoint, VBCMH, and Riverwood
✔ Private pay: $46/hour (reduced to $11.50/hour for those who qualify)
✔ Up to 12 hours/week of financial support may be available for families without Medicaid (thanks to grant funding!)

We are looking for a volunteer or low cost DJ for After Hours Adult Social Nights at Ripple Effects Community Inclusion Center in Portage.

An open-house style event where adults of all abilities can enjoy a night to socialize with pizza and dancing.

This will be a monthly event and a chance for you to gain exposure as a DJ, or just share your passion and hobby with people who will appreciate it. It would be preferred that you have your own light and sound equipment.
