Purring Hearts Kitten Rescue Meliorism We are a Wisconsin non-profit 501c3 foster based kitten rescue. We care for neonate orphan kittens (birth to 8 weeks old) and feral moms with kittens.

We also provide occasional short term Family Preservation foster care for families in crisis.

We now have ✨7✨ neonatal orphans that are keeping our bottle baby team stretched thin, and we are getting multiple requests to rescue more!

Many rescues and shelters do not have a neonate program, and this is one of the specialized care needs we had in mind when we founded Purring Hearts. Many times when people reach out to us with neonatal orphan requests, we are their last resort. We want to be able to say yes to more of these tiny lives!

🐾 Bottle babies do need to be fed often and consistently. Depending on age, this can range from every 2-6 hours. This is why we have a team!! You do not need to commit to weeks of a rigorous schedule. We can rotate as needed, even signing up for 24-48 hour shifts is extremely helpful!

🐾 Bottle babies DO NOT TAKE UP MUCH SPACE! Ours live in travel-friendly incubators that are roughly 24"x18". You do not need a dedicated foster room, and they may even be able to tag along with you to work!

🐾 And of course... they are extremely cute!
