Did you know?

E-cigarette companies use advertising strategies designed to capture the attention of young people. In fact, 7 in 10 middle and high school students reported seeing e-cigarette marketing, with many exposed through retail stores, social media, streaming platforms, and other media. Lower prices and constant exposure can make va**ng seem harmless—but ni****ne addiction is real.

Don't let marketing make the choice for you. Choose health. Choose your future. Everybody's Not Doing It.

The 2025–2026 school year is officially a wrap!

Now that school is out, the question is:

What will your child be doing this summer?

Summer can be a time for growth, fun, and new experiences. Keeping young people engaged and connected can help them build confidence, develop new skills, and make positive choices.

Here are a few ideas:
✅ Summer camps and youth programs
✅ Sports leagues and recreational activities
✅ Volunteer opportunities
✅ Music, art, and creative programs
✅ Reading challenges and library activities
✅ Part-time jobs or internships
✅ Family outings and community events

The more connected young people are to positive people and activities, the more likely they are to have a safe and successful summer. Here's a link to programs funded by the Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County that are available to our young people.

This summer, try pickleball...

It's cheaper than bad decisions.
Less painful than a bad tattoo.
And way better for your future than drugs or alcohol.

Grab some friends, get outside, get active, and have some fun.

What's your pickleball skill level?
