Maddie's Fight Foundation Maddie's Fight Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial help to children battling cancer and funding Osteosarcoma research.

In May of 2016 Madison Lane Demers was diagnosed with an extremely rare bone cancer, Multi-centric Osteogenic Sarcoma. Maddie had tumors on every bone in her body. Maddie put up an incredible fight. We flew her from her home state of Florida to Cleveland Clinic in Ohio where her amazing doctor, Dr. Pete Anderson was. Maddie rallied and made history books with her new treatments. On January 5th 201

7 her body was tired and she passed away. When Maddie first was diagnosed we talked about spreading awareness and helping other children who are fighting this disease. We also talked about when she was better starting a foundation to help the families in need of financial support during these difficult times. Maddie would write to others battling cancer on social media and tell them to stay strong. She was always worried about others and I know this foundation is what she would want her name on. Treatments for osteosarcoma are over 30 years old. This needs to change. One dollar at a time Maddie's Fight Foundation would like to help in this crusade. As well as funding children and families fighting cancer, we would like to raise money for osteosarcoma research and get new treatments. MADDIE LANE IS OUR SUPERHERO AND THIS WAS HER FIGHT, WE INTEND TO HONOR HER WISHES AND BATTLE UNTIL THIS EVIL DISEASE IS DESTROYED!

We’re heartbroken to share that Maddie’s uncle and Board Member, Anthony, has passed away. He was such a bright light in Maddie’s life and a huge part of the Maddie’s Fight Foundation family.

Through every challenge Maddie faced, he stood beside her, whether it was showing up with a smile, offering support during the toughest days, or just being there when it mattered most — he was always there for Maddie and this cause. His love for his family and the way he showed up for others will never be forgotten.

Please keep Maddie’s family in your thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. We’ll miss him more than words can say 💜
