As the government shutdown continues, we’re making sure that no student in South Kitsap goes without food.

South Kitsap Backpacks for Kids provides simple weekend food packs to ease the burden on families. These aren’t fancy, they’re filled with practical, kid-friendly food to help students get through the weekend with full bellies and a little less stress.

If your family is affected by the shutdown and could use support, please contact your child’s school counselor or teacher to request a food pack.

This program is also always available to any student who needs extra food support, for any reason. We’re here to help.
