Learning and Building Together
Volusia Ship Modelers was founded as the Port Orange Ship Modelers some years ago by ship and maritime enthusiasts, and former military and commercial mariners. The club is family friendly and its members and their families enjoy collaborating on club projects, personal projects and participating in monthly club events. Many of the club members have many years of model building experience. Some of which build museum quality models currently displayed at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Halifax Yacht Club and the Ormond Beach Public Library.
We encourage learning about ships old and new, as well as building static and radio models. Join the Volusia Ship Modelers today and lets learn and build together. We are member of Scale Ship Modelers Association (SSMA) of North America.
