It was great to see these two tonight. Thanks for coming out. Andrea speaks the truth, veterans need to look out for each other.
Three Commanders. One Mission.
Today was a great reminder that our veteran organizations are strongest when we support each other.
Pictured here are Commander Matt from American Legion Post 8, Commander John from American Legion Post 449, and me, Andrea, Commander of Charles Schoor VFW Post 796. John and I stopped by Post 8 to support their spaghetti dinner and spend some time with fellow veterans.
Too often people focus on what makes our organizations different, but the truth is we're all working toward the same goal—serving veterans, supporting our communities, and preserving the legacy of those who came before us.
If we aren't supporting each other, then what are we doing?
Leadership isn't just about what happens inside our own posts. It's about showing up, lending a hand, and building relationships across all veteran organizations. Together, we can accomplish far more than any one group can alone.
Thank you to Post 8 for the warm welcome and a great dinner. Here's to veterans supporting veterans. 🇺🇸💙❤️
