We dropped off activity kits made and packaged by Girl Scouts of Troop 178 to be shared with kids heading to appointments at Golisano Children's Hospital. We were so excited to replenish Shery’s stock after years of choosing prizes during our own appointments. Trust me, stopping to see her & getting to open the prize cabinets has been a staple of Ryker’s treatment! Samantha Mills thank you and your troop families!!

4 years ago we entered the hospital in the earliest of hours with a weekend bag “just in case” and proceeded to spend most of the following year living from a hospital room and our For 2.5 years Ryker went through chemo& those 2 buildings became our life…. Our holidays were spent there, we played in the halls, employees became friends, and we created space for us to be living in our moments.

We certainly could not have thrived to the best of our ability without the care provided at the hospital or the RMHC. We will be bringing toys and activities to the front desk at Golisano next week to honor and pass on Rykers favorite part of the appointments…. Stopping for a prize on the way out!

Ryker delivered 34 kits to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida on his way to his clinic appointment. He was not only excited to deliver kits of games, toys, and crafts collected by families at Charlotte Prep but also to spend time playing the in the family room with his new friend and CEO, Nirupa.
The team here treats everyone like welcome family- their dedication and the need for these services are why we choose the Ronald McDonald house to pour our hearts into as well.
