CCC has been busy! In celebration of National Volunteer Week last week, we hosted a volunteer appreciation luncheon. We want to give a HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our incredible volunteers! We couldn't serve the community without your hard work and heart. Thank you for making a difference every single day! Volunteers enjoyed a wonderful salad, homemade lasagna and cheesecake compliments of Chef Brian. Last week we also introduced our new Executive Chef Anthony who joins CCC with over 40 years of culinary expertise. Welcome to the team, Anthony!

At St. Vincent de Paul CARES (Charlotte CARE Center) formerly the Homeless Coalition, our “why” is simple: we’re committed to making homelessness rare, brief, and one-time by helping individuals and families quickly move into stable housing and providing the support they need to stay there.

The Giving Challenge, taking place April 15–16 from noon to noon, is more than just a fundraiser for us, it’s a powerful opportunity to connect with the Sarasota and Charlotte community, raise awareness, and expand our impact in a region where the need continues to grow.

Through this initiative, every dollar raised goes directly toward housing, essential resources, and long-term stability for those we serve, while also allowing us to leverage community momentum, matching funds, and new donor relationships. Ultimately, it’s not just about participating, it’s about showing up, being seen, and driving meaningful, lasting change together.

Your Easter donation helps make Natarsha’s fresh start possible, a life rebuilt through faith, resilience, and new beginnings. After losing her home and car in just weeks, Natarsha dreams of having reliable transportation for her children and one day opening the door to a home they can finally call their own.

In this season of hope and new beginnings,
we want to share a story of courage and transformation made possible by you.

Fresh, healthy food makes a real difference!

The SVdP CARES Charlotte CARE Center Food Pantry volunteers recently teamed up with Sous Chef Marino DiSaverio to prepare fresh vegetables and salad fixings for neighbors in need.

Moments like these remind us how powerful community partnerships can be when we come together to support one another.
