Our ribbon cutting was a beautiful reminder of what a community can build together. 🌻

Cathy’s Place has grown through the relationships we’ve built with our board members, community partners, volunteers, and supporters. Each of you has given your time, opened doors, shared resources, and believed that people in recovery deserve a welcoming place to find support. Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration possible and joined us for it.

We are so excited to begin this next chapter in our new space. Cathy’s Place is ready to be an anchor for recovery support in Charlotte County: a place where people can feel welcomed, connected, and hopeful about what comes next. 💛

Today is a meaningful day for Cathy’s Place. We are celebrating the ribbon cutting of our new space, and we are remembering Cathy, who passed away five years ago today. 🌻

Cathy dedicated her life to recovery and to helping others find hope. Her compassion and belief in people continue to guide the work we do in her name. We wish she could be here to see this day, and we hope this space will carry forward the welcome and connection she gave so freely.

To our board members, volunteers, partners, and supporters: thank you for believing in this mission and helping make today possible. We are deeply grateful to share this moment with you and with our community.

Cathy’s legacy lives on every time someone walks through our doors and finds a place to belong. 💛

Team Doogie is bringing the boards to the Hometown Backyard Bash!

We're running the CO****le Tournament at this year's Backyard Bash, hosted by Wintergarden Presbyterian Church. This one's for great causes. 💚

Picture it: chili simmering and a whole row of boards with bags flying. Bring a partner and bring the family. All skill levels are welcome.

💜 Celebrating Recovery, Connection & Community 💜

Cathy's Place of Charlotte County was honored to once again support Kimmies Recovery Zone at their amazing annual Party in the Park!

It was a beautiful day filled with connection and hope. We were grateful to connect with so many community partners, participate in the overdose awareness vigil, and stand alongside the recovery community in remembrance of the lives lost.

During National Recovery Month, events like this remind us that recovery is possible and no one should have to walk the journey alone. Together, we are building a stronger recovery community rooted in connection, support, and hope. 💜

Cathy’s Place of Charlotte County warmly invites our family, friends, community partners, and the recovery community to join us for our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony! 🌻💜

We are incredibly excited to celebrate this new chapter and the opportunity to help more community members learn about the recovery support services we provide. Together, we are building connection, strengthening recovery, and creating hope throughout our community.
