🌻💜 We are incredibly grateful for the recognition and for everyone working together to make recovery and overdose prevention a community priority.

While these numbers represent real progress, every life matters, and there is still work to do. At Cathy’s Place of Charlotte County, we remain committed to providing free Narcan, overdose prevention education, peer support, and hope to individuals and families throughout our community.

The latest reports are officially in and the news is absolutely SPECTACULAR! Drug overdose deaths are DOWN a staggering 46% across the state of Florida, and down 14% across the nation! 📉✨

This is a MASSIVE victory and it proves that the hard work happening right here on our own streets in Southwest Florida is SAVING LIVES! We have to give a giant, celebratory shout-out to Cathy's Place of Charlotte County because THIS IS WHAT THEY DO! 🙌 Every single day they are out there providing FREE Narcan to ensure our community has the life-saving tools we need❣️🌻
That is exactly “WHY” we do what we do. At our upcoming Overdose Awareness 5K/1-Mile Remembrance Walk, EVERY SINGLE PERSON who crosses the finish line will receive Narcan.
