We can’t say this enough, the church isn’t just the building, People are the church. We get to choose daily to be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving and helping those around us. Those who might not look like us or act like us or love like us. But we continue to show up: why? People have real hurt, people have real problems and people have real feelings of loneliness and hopelessness, and while we can’t fix that for them, we do get to be there to help them have a brief moment of good and above all we get to point them to the one who can heal their hurt and pain. Whether we help our neighbor, the widow down the street or the person needing a meal It’s time we start remembering we are the church!
