This letter of intent is to notify you of my commitment to the 4-H KYG party nomination for the 2024 election. I am 15-year-old Ella Garcelon from Clallam County. I have been a part of 4-H for 9 years starting with a science project and showing poultry. Since then I have become the vice present of my 4-H club, showing dogs and horses.
I am a student at Port Angeles High School as a sophomore. As of next year, I additionally will be a student at Pen*sula College. Once graduated my goal is to attend Stanford University and graduate with a law degree.
Representing the 4-H KYG party would be of great importance to me because I believe giving a larger voice to future generations is very important. Involving myself and others my age deeper into politics I believe will open many doors.
There are many issues of great importance to me. Some of them are more available healthcare, a better education system, keeping our environment clean, and educating the general public on climate change. The issue I am most passionate about is healthcare. More specifically, providing easier access to service animals.
