Pahin Sinte District building update:

Today I did tour the building and it is nearing completion, a projected date will be announced soon.

The building will serve as a community cap building, there are two offices, restrooms, a kitchen, a storage area, the gymnasium flooring is not in yet and the parking area is almost completed.

I’m told by the contractor on-site that we are a couple weeks behind the medicine root district building. The contractor for our building is also doing Medicine Root and Wounded Knee District building’s so our buildings will all be around the same size.

When I have more information I’ll get it out on here.

If there are specific questions please send them in and I’ll do my best to get answers.

The executive board does meet weekly on Mondays at 5:30pm at the cap office.

Parents of students participating & registered for LNI 2025 from Porcupine District you can go complete a request form at the service center, you must attach a roster and what day the student is scheduled to take part on a school letterhead.

Porcupine District Members:

Grocery vouchers will be handed out on a first come first serve basis starting Wednesday Nov. 12.

‼️Must complete form and attach necessary documentation, show card and ID.
**Limit 1 per household**

Please be respectful to workers and be patient in this process this is an effort to help the families in this SNAP situation. Limited vouchers available. This starts Wednesday November 12th.
