The Rain is going to clear up around noon according to the forecast so we are still planning to have todays event at McLane Park.

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to every sponsor, donor, organization, volunteer, friend, coworker and community partner who helped make our Community Connections Day of Service possible. Your generosity, encouragement, donations, time, and willingness to step in and help truly made a difference.

A very special thank you to Southeast Signs and Graphics, Bluff Signs , Sterling Bank, 10-Box, Memaws Rockin Sweets, Track Side Cafe, Northside Nutrition Center, Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation, and Robbie Myers for your incredible support and help with this event.

Community events like this simply do not happen without people and businesses who are willing to say, “How can we help?” Every contribution—big or small helped bring people together, and I am sincerely grateful for each of you.

Congratulations to all of the winners of the 3rd Annual Duck Derby to benefit the Days for Girls Poplar Bluff MO Chapter .
Our winners have been notified and have made some amazing plans with their winnings.

Our 3rd place winner, Dr. Dolly Campbell, donated her $50 dollar prize back to the Poplar Bluff Days for Girls Chapter. Thank you!

Our 2nd place winner, the Poplar Bluff Missouri Lions Club voted to donate their $100 prize to the Missouri School for the Blind in Saint Louis.

Our 1st place winner, Tina Ulrich, is using her $200 prize to purchase a new sewing machin.

We are grateful and very thankful to everyone who contributed to this year's derby!

The Third Annual Black River Duck Derby benefiting Days for Girls Poplar Bluff, Missouri Chapter was a quacking success! 🦆🎉
Thanks to everyone who adopted a duck, donated, contributed, volunteered, shared our posts, cheered us on, gave us a thumbs-up or a word of encouragement, and came out to watch the race! Every bit of support means so much to us.
Together, we raised $1,170, with $350 paid out in prizes!
