The South Ponte Vedra Beach Official Marine Turtle Patrol, Inc. is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization.

We are permitted and trained by FWC to monitor Marine (Sea) Turtle nesting. Sea Turtles are protected by the Endangered Species Act.

We have to rely on public funds to pay for maintenance of the ATV and supplies to mark and monitor the nests. We do this by offering nest adoptions.

Sea Turtle Nest adoptions are available for $50.
