e Vedra Chapter is 136 members strong and continues to grow. Our members share a deep commitment to community service that promotes historical preservation, education and patriotism. DAR members come from a variety of backgrounds and interests, but all share a common bond of having an ancestor who helped contribute to securing the independence of the United States of America. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution is eligible to join! on the first Tuesday of each month, September through May. Congratulations to Ponte Vedra Chapter for earning Bronze level in the Share the Spirit American Spirit competition. This is an incredible accomplishment, and it is truly an honor to have our dedication and hard work recognized by National. This recognition is awarded to chapters where 31-50% of chapter members subscribe.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at National Defense Night! Join us tonight, June 28, for the National Defense Night Ceremony from 7–10 p.m. in the Auditorium, Constitution Hall.

Enjoy a concert by the The Washingtonian Brass Band from 7:00 p.m. to 7:25 p.m., with programming beginning at 7:30 pm.
