Únete a nosotros y da tu opinión apoyando un fondo comunitario para residentes y trabajadores de Montclair que han sido afectados por las detenciones de inmigrantes.

Si no quieres dar tu opinion, puedes entregar un comentario escrito sobre Punto 11 de la agenda y/o traer un letrero.

U.S. Marshals con vehículos sin identificación y sin placas están reuniéndose en el estacionamiento en las calles 7 y Thomas (al sur de la corte).

435 W. Mission, esquina de Park

A las 7:33 AM, nos encontramos con tres vehículos conocidos de ICE en los estacionamientos del USCIS ASC (oficina de biométricos).

Dos de los vehículos se fueron a las 7:54 AM. Otro llegó a las 8:26 AM.

Los dos vehículos restantes esperaron hasta las 10 AM. Nunca los vimos llevarse a alguien.

At 7:33 AM, we came across 3 known ICE vehicles in the parking lots of the USCIS ASC (biometrics office).

Two of the vehicles left at 7:54 AM. Another arrived at 8:26 AM.

The two remaining vehicles waited until 10 AM. We never saw them take anyone.

14/5/26: Por lo menos una persona fue secuestrada de su cita en .

15/5/26: Varias personas fueron secuestradas de sus citas en la Ciudad de Industry.

Nos hemos enterado de que desde diciembre de 2025, la frecuencia de secuestros en citas biométricas ha aumentado. Dado que estas citas son necesarias, antes de ir a tu cita, por favor toma precauciones y considera lo siguiente:

* Consulta con un abogado de inmigración y pregúntale lo siguiente:
- ¿Se puede detenerme en la cita?
- ¿Qué puedo hacer para preparar un plan de seguridad?

* Las personas con órdenes de deportación y/o antecedentes penales por lo general corren más riesgo de ser secuestrado en sus citas.

* Si no tienes un abogado y quieres apoyo, por favor contáctanos o marca 909-361-4588.

^Solicitantes y peticionarios de inmigración y ciudadanía deben entregar información biométrica, como huellas, a USCIS durante citas en lugares y tiempos designados.

Kidnappings at USCIS Biometrics Appointments^

5/14/26: At least one person was taken at their appointment in Pomona.

5/15/26: Multiple people were taken at their appointments in the City of Industry.

We have learned that since December 2025, the frequency of kidnappings at biometrics appointments has increased. Since these appointments are necessary, prior to attending your appointment, please take precautions and consider the following:

* Consult with an immigration attorney and ask the following:
- Could I be detained at my appointment?
- What can I do to prepare a safety plan?

* Individuals with prior removal orders and/or criminal history are generally at greater risk of being kidnapped at their appointments.

* If you do not have an attorney and would like support, please contact us or call 909-361-4588.

^Immigration and citizenship applicants and petitioners must submit biometric information, such as fingerprints, to USCIS at designated appointment times and locations.
