We are so grateful to our rescue partner Husky House for finding the perfect match for Electra! 💙 An amazing, friendly, and chill husky girl, Electra just needed the right people to see her to find her forever home, and Husky House made it happen for her!
Rescue partners are an essential part of our network, helping provide additional options for animals like Electra who may be overlooked in a big shelter environment. Whether it's a 30 cat transfer or one or two dogs, every partner makes a difference for us and for the animals! 🐾❤

Does it get any better than a young, social, friendly lab mix rescue dog?! Tex is a 1.5 year old lab mix who you may recognize from Four Legs Good! Unfortunately his adoption fell through 😢 and he is once again looking for his forever people!
Some more about Tex… found abandoned at a gas station, Tex is a very loving and trusting boy who hasn’t lost any faith in humanity ❤️ He has bonded quickly with his foster family and has been a perfect houseguest, enjoying time with the other two dogs in the home. He is a happy and easygoing dog who is housebroken, good on a leash, and sleeps in his crate overnight, even entering on his own when he’s ready to rest 🥹 Tex seems to be good with kids too, and has enjoyed attending several little league games with his foster family!
If you’re looking to adopt a loyal & loving best friend, please reach out to us! Tex’s foster family will be traveling soon and we are hoping to find his forever home before he has to return to the shelter 🏡

They say teamwork makes the dream work! And today we had a wonderful young volunteer come to help transfer an orphaned wild bunny 🐰 to our rescue partner Rockland Wildlife. This little one has had a rough start in life but is about to get a second chance thanks to Rockland Wildlife Rescue & Rehab and the volunteers who stepped in to make it happen 🩷 🐇
Want to make a difference too? Ask your local shelter about being a transport volunteer! 🚙 Always needed to make saving lives faster and smoother !

Meet ✨ Estrella ✨ a 1-2 year old terrier mix weighing in at 30 lbs! Entering the shelter as a stray, Estrella was so anxious and hesitant to trust. After only 10 days in a foster home, she is a completely different dog with more confidence, happiness, and love to share with whoever is lucky enough to adopt her 💛
In her foster home, Estrella loved spending time with the other dog, and was very gentle and calm around their 4 month old human baby 👶🏼 The foster family thinks she would thrive in a home with another dog that can help bring out her best self and lead the way in forming a strong bond with the whole family.
