We’re back! It’s been a while but I’m proud to acknowledge the Polk Lions Club for joining me in purchasing a turkey at the Ashland County Junior Fair Livestock Sale today. Our purchase will be donated to Ashland Special Needs Ministry. In addition, our club and other Lions clubs in Ashland County will be collecting pasta and pasta sauce for client meals of the ministry. It is one of the goals of the Polk Lions to help alleviate hunger issues that arise in our community and we are truly grateful for those who choose to help us in this endeavor. Blessings- Candy
