Kids sewing class!

I’m a former homeschooling mom (2010-2022) who loves to sew and loves to teach. I’m combining these two loves into one joint venture by giving beginning sewing classes to both children and adults.

I provide all students with a high end sewing machine to use for class and all the equipment and supplies needed. All you need to bring is yourself and your creativity.

When: Next class will be on December 9th from 10am-1pm (perfect time for mom to go shopping alone!)

For who: children ages 8 and up.

Where: Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton, Pa

Cost: $55

What: We will be learning safety and basics of the machine and then diving into the fun of making this charming Christmas ornament! Your child will learn to sew straight lines, fold, iron and hand-sew buttons.
Small class size of 8 students only!

This will be the only chance before Christmas so don’t miss out on this fun time creating something special for the tree!

These girls are on their way to Zambia Africa where they will help some amazing mothers make money to support their families. So blessed to be a very small part of helping and very excited to see what the ladies make with them.

Good morning! I’m taking applicants for machines currently. If you know of anyone in need of a sewing machine to help support their family or for personal needs, please have them contact me through this page. I have a few machines I’m working on that I need to find a match for.

Also, if you have a machine you would like to donate, please message me here.

Most donated machines get overhauled and donated out to women in need however, if I think your machine is exceptional, I may say to you “would you mind if I tried to sell your machine”. The purpose of this would be to help pay for the parts and equipment (oil, brushes, cleaners etc) needed to repair and refurbish all the others. But I would always be up front about that if I thought your machine was one that would be a good candidate for that and would only do that if I needed to to keep my out of pocket costs minimum.

That said, I have already given away a couple machines I bought, so this is definitely a non profit venture 😂 🔴🆘

Also, I do buy machines to refurbish and resell so if you see me selling machines, these are ones I have bought and not donated machines through this charity. I had someone say this to me one day so I wanted to clear that up while I was here 🙂

Welcome to my page. I have been working hard restoring quality sewing machines for women in need. I will update this page with new machines and their progress and also will provide info on machines that were adopted out.

If you have donated a machine to me, follow the page and maybe you will see yours here soon!
