Middle school non-contact is back in - with practice starting April 6 and games every Wednesday starting April 15th !

Stop down to the Des Moines Rugby Football Club on Saturday to watch the University of Iowa Men’s Rugby team take on the Air Force Rugby team at 1pm.

Live rugby returns to the pitch on Saturday, March 7th.

Kickoff is set for 1:00 PM as former Head Coach John Cullen brings his Air Force squad from Colorado Springs to take on the University of Iowa Men’s Rugby Club in a home friendly.

Two proud programs. One field.

We’re still working out the logistics of our youth rugby league and competition team. More details to come…

We have finalized our programs with Polk City, IA Parks & Recreation.

We will be offering “First Try Rugby” for ages 3-6. This will be on each Thursday from 5-5:30 staring on June 4 and ending on June 25th.

Our Intro to Rugby program will be August 3-6. Ages 7-9 from 6-7pm. Ages 10-12 will be from 7-8pm.

Night 3 of the Polk City, IA Parks & Recreation Intro to Rugby clinic was all about energy, teamwork, and just a little bit of chaos — the good kind.

Players came in a bit hyped from the weekend, we refocused and put their skills from the first two nights into action. We saw some lightning-fast flag pulls, fewer forward passes, some dummy passes, and even a few sneaky sidesteps worthy of highlight reels.

The scrimmages had everyone grinning, cheering, and a bit of friendly competition. By the end, there were high-fives all around, a couple of “did you see that?!” moments, and a sense that everyone’s game had leveled up.

Our last session is tonight at 6… bring it on.
