Thank you to all who worked so hard for our new park. While a majority of voters (53%) were in favor of the plan, we did not clear the super majority mark needed.

Totaling three acres, two urban ponds will provide nature enthusiasts of all ages with a glimpse into the natural world through prairie plantings, birding, wildlife exploration and fishing. Classrooms of local students will be able to gather samples, learn about our natural world and experience conservation practices first-hand!
