The Pack 6 Webelos Scout den rounded out their My Community requirements this week!
A special thanks to the Point Pleasant Borough mayor, council and police department. Not only were they generous with their time and answering questions from scouts, the tour of the police department was an excellent behind the scenes experience.

Pack 6 had a fun morning touring the New Jersey State Marine Station. Afterwards they did a conservation project by cleaning up the woods around the boat launch area next to the station.

💙 Scouting For Food! 💙
Pack 6 hit the streets of Point Pleasant Beach neighborhoods and collected bags of food for St. Gregory's pantry.

Today Scouts will be taking part in the first weekend of “Scouting for Food” where Scouts will place tags on the doors of hundreds of homes across Point Pleasant Beach in an attempt to gather donations for St Gregory’s Food Pantry. We ask that any families that are able to to please consider donating to this very worthwhile service project for our young Scouts.

The Scouts will be returning next Saturday, 11/22, to pickup bags or boxes of donated non-perishables from around town.

If your home is not tagged but you are interested in donating, you can drop off any food donations to St Gregory’s food pantry in Pt Pleasant Beach between 11AM and noon on Saturday 11/22. The food pantry can also use donations year round to support families in need.
