๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธโš“ Happy 250th Birthday to the United States Navy! โš“๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On October 13, 1775, the Continental Congress authorized the creation of a naval force to defend American liberty at sea, marking the birth of the United States Navy.

From its Revolutionary War origins to its role as a global force for freedom today, the Navy has embodied the same spirit of courage and patriotism that guided our Founding generation.

The Sons of the American Revolution proudly salute all who have served in the United States Navy, past and present, for 250 years of steadfast dedication to our nationโ€™s defense.
