💙 A Message from the WeCare Team 💙

After much reflection, the WeCare Team board has made the difficult decision to dissolve our nonprofit. Our primary fundraiser was a business 2Talls Sweet Treats Bus - Plumas Lake that is also closing its doors, and without that business, continuing operations is no longer feasible.

While this is bittersweet news, we choose to celebrate what we accomplished together. 🏆 Over the years WeCare Team showed up for this community in ways we are incredibly proud of. We fundraised for local youth athletes who deserved the chance to compete and shine. 🌟 We hosted a teacher appreciation event where we treated our hardworking local educators to free lattes and copies of their choice — a small gesture for people who give so much every single day. 🍎☕

None of it would have been possible without the volunteers, donors, and community members who believed in what we were doing. You are the reason we were able to make a difference. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️

We want to give a very special shoutout to Joey Rowland of Rowland & Associates . 🌟 Joey was instrumental in getting WeCare Team off the ground and gave us the foundation we needed to do real good in this community. His generosity, expertise, and big heart made all of this possible.

📚✨ We are excited to announce that the WeCare Team has sponsored eight students this year! 👏❤️

With our support, each student will receive a wonderful book each month, bringing the joy of reading into their lives. We believe in the power of literacy and the importance of giving every child access to books, just as many of us experienced growing up.

🌟 Giving Back with the WeCare Team 🌟

At WeCare Team, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back! That’s why we’re excited to support Wheatland Elementary’s 5th Annual Jog-A-Thon—a fantastic event that not only promotes health and fitness but also raises crucial funds for enhancing the learning environment of our students. 🏃‍♀️💖

This year, the goal is to raise $25,000 to support important programs like assemblies, the WE Read initiative, new PE equipment, books, field trips, and so much more! Every donation helps in creating a better future for our children and fostering a love for learning. 📚✨

As students prepare to jog for 30 minutes around the track, they’ll tie-dye their shirts, gather pledges, and earn fun prizes along the way. It’s all about teamwork, support, and making memories while promoting a healthy lifestyle! 🙌🏽

At WeCare Team, we’re proud to contribute to such meaningful events that align perfectly with our mission to uplift and support our community. Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time! 💪🏽❤️

🌟 The word is out! We have officially launched our nonprofit serving the Yuba Sutter communities! 🎉

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to raise funds for student athletes through grants that help them pursue their athletic dreams 🏆 and to support individuals and families facing unforeseen tragic losses during their toughest moments. 💔

In the coming months, we will be reaching out to companies in the greater Yuba Sutter area and beyond that want to make a meaningful impact with their charitable contributions. If you’re interested in partnering with us, please reach out! 🤝

We’ll also be hosting fundraising events throughout the year, and we’re on the lookout for individuals with unique skill sets to help us strengthen our nonprofit. If you believe you have a skill that could benefit our mission, we’d love to hear from you!

🌟💪 The WECARE Team had an amazing time participating in our first-ever nonprofit fundraiser! 🎉 We raised funds for two incredible local superstar athletes: a soccer player invited to train at PSG clinics in Paris 🇫🇷 and an elite wrestler chosen to represent California at the national team in Indianapolis! 🥇🤼‍♂️

Together with our fantastic partners 2Talls Sweet Treats Bus - Plumas Lake , Lami Fusion , Tacos Los Reyes, Rowland & Associates, and Rick Brown Propane—we raised an incredible total of $1,038.98! 💰✨ This means we could cut checks to each family for $519.49! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported this great cause! Your generosity helped us make a difference in these athletes' lives as we kick off our journey for athletic scholarships. 💖🏆
